13th Annual Hillbilly Christmas In July
HCIJ a non-profit organization based in Pikeville, Kentucky, that holds events throughout the year to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. One of the major events is the annual July motorcycle ride, which culminates in a drawing for a new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The group starts in Pikeville, Kentucky, collects riders along the way and assembles at the Man-O-War Harley Store in Lexington for lunch. The group then proceeds — with police escort — to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Lexington. Last year approximately 600 motorcyclists participated in the bike parade.
The Johnson Law Office is a proud sponsor of HillBilly Christmas in July. Attorney Billy Johnson recognizes the importance of safety for motorcycle riders as they travel on behalf of this worthy cause.

Mountain Heritage Festival
The Letcher County Mountain Heritage Festival was first celebrated in 1983. The year before the ideal for a festival began with a county wide pig roast, coordinated by the county judge, fiscal court, and county treasurer.
Over the years, the festival has grown to 60-80 exhibitors and crafters, 18 food vendors and three days of live entertainment. Over 10,000 visitors attend the festivities annually. This community event proudly promotes the heritage of its people by showcasing various craft demonstrations, past and present.
