Brittney Schaeffer obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She also graduated summa cum laude from Pikeville College, earning a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science. Prior to joining Johnson Law Firm, Brittney clerked for Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Will T. Scott and interned for United States District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky Chief Judge Karen K. Caldwell.
Brittney decided to practice personal injury law after a family member was involved in a life-threatening accident, and she saw firsthand how devastating such an occurrence can be to a person and his or her family. She is dedicated to treating her clients with care, respect, and understanding all while vigilantly fighting to ensure that they get the maximum amount of relief afforded to them under the law.

PersonalBrittney enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Weezy and Elly. She also sometimes fosters dogs until they can find a loving home. Brittney is a former Pikeville College softball player and enjoys watching and playing sports of all types. She especially enjoys UK men’s basketball games. She also likes to travel and read fiction in her free time. Brittney, a Louisa native, currently resides in Pikeville.
