Casey Keathley is a skilled attorney who focuses exclusively on personal injury law. She is committed and compassionate with her clients, understanding that they have often walked through difficult circumstances. Because the law firm concentrates on personal injury claims, Casey is able to bring significant experience and knowledge to every client.
Casey decided to practice personal injury law after years of working as a criminal defense attorney. She realizes how important it is that people who are injured receive high-quality representation. Casey is committed to standing up for clients and being their voice in and out of the courtroom. She does not rest until she gets the justice her clients deserve.
“My favorite thing about practicing law are the times I get to sit with my clients and see the relief on their faces because a legal outcome was successful. The results make it all worthwhile.”
Casey was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pikeville College, where she graduated summa cum laude. Before joining the team at Johnson Law Firm, Casey represented indigent clients in Eastern Kentucky. She also clerked for the Honorable Martin Sheehan, Kenton County Circuit Judge.
Casey is very committed to her community and has a deep love of the area. As a local business, the Johnson Law Firm takes stewardship and community involvement seriously.
“We live in a very close-knit community, and we all try to look out for one another. It’s important that we remember where we come from and appreciate our mountain heritage.”
Casey enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling to local music festivals and sporting events. Casey grew up and spent most of her life in Floyd County and later Johnson County. Now she and her family live on a small farm in Jenkins, Kentucky, where they have dogs, chickens, and sheep. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and watching movies.
